For those that may not know, this size bearing is commonly use by a number of baitcaster fishing reel manufacturers to support the level wind worm gear. Those manufacturers also replace these bearings in the lower end ($) reels with cheaper bushings in order to differentiate them from their more costly ($$) reels that share the same frame. By throwing these into level wind mechanism to replace bushings, you can effectively bridge the gap between low and mid grade reels. These bearings did exactly that and, due to a bulk price, did so at a significant savings compared to buying a mid grade reel. If you buy a lot of reels, gift reels to friends and family, or just like pimping/tuning/refurbishing pawnshop or bargain bin reels, this is a great purchase. I, specifically, used them to improve the first reels I purchase when I started using baitcasters in order to justify keeping them in my arsenal of reels. After replacing the bearings throughout those reels (including these) I now feel like my old Abu, Lew's, and Sougayilang are significantly improved and well worth keeping. These bearings are well built, cleanly packaged, shipped from the USA, and 100% a great purchase if you need a stock of bearings to work with.

Used these to replace the plastic bushings on the worm gear in my Daiwa baitcaster. They do what they're supposed to.
