I built it almost to the max,solid frame,seven stack drag,and so on.I took off the rubber seal and put my own lube on your bearings replaced rubber seal, the spool runs smooth and free spools along time!
Have not fished it yet can’t wait.

The bearings seem to be of good quality but I am not sure if rubber sealed bearings are the best option for spool bearings, With my old noisy bearings my free spool was 30+ sec. I replaced them with Fast Eddy rubber sealed bearings and now my reel is quite but the free spool is down to 5 sec. This should not be a problem with throwing a jig but it will affect my cast when I fly-line a sardine.
